FUTURE MAKES MUSIC HISTORY WITH BACK TO BACK #1 ALBUMS ON BILLBOARD CHARTS

Future makes Billboard chart history this week, by notching back-to-back No. 1 debuts in consecutive weeks.
Last week, the Atlanta rapper debuted atop the Billboard 200 with his self-titled album, and this week, he followed by topping the chart again with HNDRXX.
Future’s HNDRXX opens at No. 1 this week, with 121,000 equivalent album units (48,000 traditional), while his self-titled album fell to No. 2, selling another 64,000 units.
The last artist to have the No. 1 and No. 2 albums simultaneously was Prince, when he topped the the chart with The Very Best of Prince and Purple Rain shortly after his death. Before that, Nelly did it in 2004 with Suit and Sweat back in 2004.
